LTA Question

Has anyone ever had an LTA decide to attach its foot to the rock pile? I have had a couple different species, BTA as well as H Crispa but never a LTA. I know they are sand dwellers but for some reason this one decided to move from the sand bottom to the rock pile. Not very high up and doesn't seem to be reaching at all. Foot seems to be well attached and I have no desire to make an attempt at removing this well attached Nem only to add stress based on what I think it wants.

Anyone that can offer any input is greatly appreciated!

I just rescued a LTA from a friend who has a 120g. It wouldn't settle down anywhere in this tank with a few nice LR islands and a bare bottom. I put it in my nem tank, on the sand right at the front edge of a small LR slope. It seemed OK after 5-6 hours when I went to bed. In the morning it had moved just up onto the LR and has been there for 3 weeks now sharing the wall with 2 condys, a big rhodactis, along with several stone flowers and corkscrew anemones.

I had an LTA that would hang out on the rocks during the day and move into a cave before dark. It died later but that was from another cause. It looked happy during the day reaching for light and at full spread.

Yeah, seems weird but I guess in the long run they know better than we do. I just thought I would ask after having spent time here on RC and elsewhere researching what the needs of this Nem were. Anyway it's been several days in the same spot with no indication it's is likely to move. Hand fed last night and it ate well, even fought off the attempt by a brittle star of stealing what the star thought would be an easy meal. I will continue to watch closely, but I guess there is really nothing to be concerned with a this point. Thanks for your experiences, I appreciate it!
