Thanks joshky! I've been babying the poor thing. It was originally bought by an inexperienced reefer already bleached at the LFS and put in a fairly new tank (less than three months old) with course shallow substrate. The tank was already crashing - corals were dying - and the LTA retreated deep into the rock work. The owner thought it had died. I bought the set up from her at a really good deal with livestock included because things were dying on her and she didn't have the time needed to fix it. She never mentioned a nem in her add. When we were tearing apart the rock wall, I found the poor LTA looking pretty rough as a surprise purchase. I honestly can't believe it survived, as her parameters were really bad for a nem. I changed out the sand for much finer substrate, and put it in a place with about 4 inches deep next to a rock. It's so exciting to see it come back with good light, good flow, and have it happily eat the tiny feedings of krill a few times per week. I can't wait to see how it turns out!
