Here are a couple I got. Both taken with a D80 and sigma 300 f/4 lens tripod mounted in full manual mode. These are saved at 72 dpi for the web. The full res look better. :) Man, was it cold out there last night. I had to keep rotating batteries as they were losing power quickly.

much nicer than what i got with mine. did you have a remote shutter button or use a timed release?

What I do is use the built in timer set to 5 seconds. Press the shutter and that gives the camera/tripod 5 seconds to settle down after I have touched it before tripping the shutter. It also helps to have a good quality tripod and a solid ball head. I use a Feisol CF tripod and a Markins ball head.

Heres the picture my girlfreind took in kent ohio, unfortunatly we were on the road for the first half of it, at least we got to see it in real life. she has a cannon rebel xt and used a 75-300mm lens, don't really know anything more than that. except never put a tripod in checked luggage on an airplane.
