i had to do a major water change, and they seem to be ok, but one of them suddenly has cloudy eyes.
my wife made a great point today. will i ever be comfortable transferring them to my dt? answer NO.
i think tonight might be the last night. (they also look very pale since the formalin) and the bath was at .20 not even .25!
Are you treating with formalin in-tank, or doing a 30-45 min bath in a bucket? IMO; the latter is sometimes preferable as you are able to expose the fish to a higher/more effective concentration of formalin and then get him out of it before any permanent damage is done.
i was doing a bath, since i took out the formalin they are doing 100x better.
I know it's none of my business, but I hope you don't plan on euthanizing them until it's clear they are in great distress.
it is your business! i was saying that based on the fact that they looked really bad and in pain. and they did not look like they would come out of this. since the wc they look 1000x better. back to being active and looking horrible :sad2:
i will however do a formalin dip as you are recommending tonight. as bad as they looked in the bath i noticed some of the bumps looking pale around (healing?)
ill try to snap some pics after the bath
He was in a copper bath for 2 weeks prior to the butterfly disease
What would you suggest I do?
Thanks humble, ill start tt first thing tonight
Cant wait to get a new fish in the display!! Almost to good to be true![]()
Buckets make great TT containers, just make sure the heater isn't too powerful.
