So, I have one Lyretail Anthias from I believe the Indian ocean, I'm just wondering if I can buy two female Lyretail Anthias from a different region of the world, like the maldives, and put them together without them fighting.

Well, anytime I kept Lyretails they always ended up fighting anyhow, so probably won't make all that much difference one way or the other.

I keep a group (6) in my 320. It is the male that tend to died. I think he spend too much energy wooing the ladies. After a few months he died, then the next female that turn male then the next... After 2 years I only have 2, the two smallest. They are beautiful and full grown, spawn all the time. I never able to get the eat flake or dry food so not able to feed them but twice a day. I think this is the problem. If I feed them ore often, the male will not woo the female and keep them in line and kill himself doing it.
the two I have now is fat and is doing well. I will not add any more to this group of 2

OK, so I have had three in my QT for three weeks now, one male and two females. At first, the male was bossy and was pushing around the other two. Over the past 3-4 days, he's been in a corner, and the largest female has been pushing him around! She's constantly chasing him and forcing him to retreat to the corner. Is she turning male?

They turn very quicly, color change over days. You will notice the organge scale of the female change to red/purple coloration of the male first.

I have four that are about to go into the DT.

They have established their pecking order and hierarchy. They're still all females, for now, and all alive, for now. Luckily mine eat everything: FLAKE, mysis, cyclops, pods...

Three constantly swim mid level and one is always on the bottom. The fear of the one at the bottom dying worries me, and I would be afraid to add more. So your question has popped up in my mind too (i.e. adding more later, not the regions part).
