I've been reading these threads about the MACNA convention in Houston and it looks like it was incredible. I'm seriously thinking about going to it in Pittsburgh next year. So I have a few questions.
I noticed on their web page that they have extended the best discounted rate of 75 dollars a person until 10/09. That looks like a great deal considering what it will be. How many of you guys purchased this package and is it worth it? The only reason I ask is because I always tend to buy the best package when I go to something like this, only to get there and find out I really didn't need everything it included. Would it just be the easiest way to do it?
Next question, how large is it and what are the best days to be there? Which would also help me decide the package and plan the trip better.
I'd just like to know what most of you did whether you went there for the full 3 days or only went for one day etc.. Because there's a lot we'd like to see in Pennsylvania if we decide to turn it into a longer vacation, so I was just wondering if it would stay interesting for 3 days or after 2 days you've pretty much seen everything there is to see, or if you only really needed one day. I wouldn't mind making 3 days out of it if it's worth it. The seminars sounded very interesting.
Next, what does the banquet consist of and what day? Also, do you have to buy the raffle tickets in advance online or are they available at the show also? I just didn't know what the advantage would be to buying them now unless they sell out that fast.
Thanks a lot for any info you can provide.
