That was the best raffle ever! So many excellent items. To many to name and I don't remember them all. If someone has a list maybe they can post it here. Everyone will be amazed if not shocked. :bounce3:
Again, an extra thanks to the people who made this the best MACNA ever. Getting the vendors, speakers, best raffle prizes ever and all the other hard and time consuming work. Also, a very big thanks to all the vendors that donated the items.

I bought about $175.00 worth of tickets plus the ones for volunteering for 3 days. I put most of the tickets in items that I wanted and then spread some out among some other items. I won the $300.00 gift certificate from Strictly Fish in Miami, the Oceanic 1/6 hp chiller and some bulbs. I just started to look at the length of the bulbs as I was putting in the ticket. Dang, they were the wrong length. The chiller I will end up selling and use the $ for some leds which I really wanted. I almost bought some leds at the end of the show, but the guy left early for a flight. I also won a coral where the ticket was free.

I saw other FMAS members win stuff  Who else won stuff?

I put 50+ tickets in the 3 big tanks and then 1-2 tickets in the smaller items. I won a sea sweep from the box I think I put 1 ticket in. :)

I won the deep blue rimless micro frag tank and stand, also came with a t5 , very exciting raffle, even better when you walk away with something.Great sponsors, great weekend is all I can say.

Rich, from Rhode Island....I won the 125 Living Color tank and stand. Since I couldnt get it home I sold it. The beautiful handmade coral inserts from Living Color i sold to World Wide Corals and the tank and stand to a nice couple from your Florida Club. I wanted the bandsaw..but you win some you lose some..lol Alot of fun. Where else can you go and empty your wallet buying corals and equipment and still come out smiling because of the good time. empty wallet or not..lol

I put 496 ticket in for the 300... Nope didn't win it, but got a sweet 60 gallon cube from the AI raffle Saturday.

I only bought $120 worth in tickets plus 3 sheets from volunteering. Didn't win anything until Sunday. It was hard keeping track of my tickets numbers while handing out the prizes and verifying the winners but I won a clam, some nice frag rock with plugs and the one thing I really needed, the Aqua Medic Acone 1.5 skimmer!!! It was a LOT of fun and I came out with some very awesome frags and raffle items. Glad I came out and volunteered!

Thanks to all the guys from FMAS who made this possible and did not get to enjoy the show because they were too busy working. Hats off to them!

I won a Bluefin reactor by triton aquatics from there booth upstairs and i also won some fish food for having a picture of my tank on my phone from the raffle down stairs only attended sunday and we had a blast

ended up with some tshirts koozies from the vendors and some samples of some products as well

This may be a dumb question but does the vendor putting up the item for raffle get paid based on the amount of tickets in their box. I believe each vendor has to donate items for the raffle but what about the ones putting in thousands of dollars in merchandise. Unfortunately I was only able to go Friday and had to leave before the drawings so I didn't win anything. But I was happy with the dozen or so free shirts.

The vendors don't get paid. They are donating the item, but I am sure they write it off tax wise. Also, when they donate they end up getting free advertising since MACNA advertised who was donating and what it was.

Lacy, thank you for all the hard work and the offer to help me take my tank home. I'm glad your were able to get your chiller home safe and sound. I will always be forever greatful to have a friend like you.

I won the 300 DD tank and even with all the negative thoughts that were fed to me by FMAS members and low ballers that surround it me after my winning. I got it home at ZERO cost to me.

By the way, it's not about the amount of tickets you put in. It's about how do you think, act and respect others, that get you all prices in life.

It's a sweet tank. You never gave a price for what you would sell it for, you could tell you didn't want to sell it. I won a bunch of other items so I can't complain. Good luck with it!
