We just got in a few minutes ago, was a long drive. Marco drove till Sarasota, then I took over.

It was nice meeting all of you, and Thank You for sharing the extra box you had available. :)

Glad to hear you made it in ok. Did you guys stay for the raffle or did you head out right after us? We made it home about 10pm.
It was great seeing you guys and hangin out.

Andrew Smith here. We stayed for the raffle untill they raffled the big tank before heading to the airport. I don't think any of the local members won anything big. The raffle was really slow so we left before it was over and got on an early flight home on standby.

I can't blame them ... We would've done the same. We wouldn't have had a way to transport it back home, and to be honest .. that tank wouldn't have been worth the effort, or money to rent a truck, possibly stay an extra night .. and all the hassle involved with moving it to S florida.

If it was a ELOS, or ZeroEdge .. different story.
 
i heard lots of cool new toys at MACNA... koralia has powerheads 5,6,7,&8 coming out i heard! i also heard from some of you fortunate to go, that the new octopus skimmer are awesome! running an italian pump???
 
Miami that could have been Herman, Tye, Matt, or Raffiel that one the tank all real nice guys.

Also new was the smaller Tunze wave box. Definately one of those trade floor shows that if you didn't go you missed it.
 
Weirdest thing today... box shows up with a tub of DT frozen oyster eggs. I didn't order any, although I did drop a raffle ticket in a raffle for a jar of it with Andy's name on it. I wonder if they just skipped a bunch of raffle prizes and ended up shipping them to the winners?

Weird.
 
they were posting the winners on the Peachtree ballroom door...with red marks if you hadn't received your prizes yet...was really hard to follow along....When Marco was downstairs picking out his clam from ORA....he won a few things that I had to go claim...it was really hard to keep up....then when you got up to the front to collect you HAD to know what you were there for or they looked at you like you were stupid...we ended up with two photos, a bag of salt and a clam...next year I will be Sarah if we go...I will know how to play the game!
 
Did they raffle off _that_ much stuff early?? I caught a couple of them, but totally missed the list...

We were in a hurry to get to the airport, though - we got there in enough time to fly standby on an earlier flight and got home an hour early.

we have posted on our local club site, added some to the main Macna XX thread...there wasnt much that we took pics of other than the Aquarium....and really all I did was try to get used to using the camera...I suck at taking pics! So since we had already been there, he let me play for a little bit.
