Macro algae ID

This algae is a hitch hiker on liverock I bought about 6 months ago. Its finally getting some size to it so I can get a decent pic. It start out as a small tiny half strand, and grew into this. The liverock was supposedly maricultured in California.

A type of Laurencia maybe? Need a better pic to ID for sure.

how fast does it grow?

It grows at a decent speed. The first picture to the 2nd picture is only about 2 1/2 months of growth, it started out growing MUCH sslower, though
