I did the same thing myself a few years back. Now I just have two tanks, one planted and one reef. He'll be back. ;)

lol pledo, soo true. i started putting a few corals in my tank mixing it with macros.. bad move :( the macros were overgrowing the corals so a lot of the fast growing macros had to go.

I just pruin the macro's every week. Seriously.
 
what a shame if he did change the setup.. i just came back from snorkeling on a shallow reef, is anyone here has never seen a reef in person his aquarium looked exactly like a healthy reef, i wondered tho, did he leave his lights on 24/7? also, do you really need a CO2 injector?
