Macro shipping and packing?

I want to ship some brillopad macro to a buddy. Anyone have some advise on the most economical and safe way to pack and ship this stuff? I have some heat packs if they are required. Thanks.

IMHO heat pacs are unnecessary. Just dont ship during very cold weather enroute.

And ship in as much water as your shipping buget will allow!

IME, use just enough water to keep it moist.
you need as much air/O2 as possible. they
consume O2 in darkness & can quickly deplete
it from the water. & if it freezes, it will explode
the cell walls. check the weather reports for
your destination & insulate well regardless.

This time of year I would suggest insulated boxes and heat packs if temps are expected below freezing. Macro's ship very well damp, and it keeps the shipping weights down ;)
