So my clown and nem 125g dt has been up for a few weeks now I just added sand eariler tonight (i have made a top secret way to add 80lbs or more of sand with not clouding muhahah)

So any ways...I want to keep this tank simple coral wise so I'm sticking with nems only but I would like to add various macroalgea to the display. I only have Halimeda and one or two I cannot rember names for.

I was wondering if anyone had any nice plants they would be willing to sell. I want any and all plants in the display other than clerp and cheto. It seems lfs don't carry any plants and if they do they are dead or dying. So I wiuld like to get healthy plants off of a fellow reefer. I don't care if its a rooter a traveler I don't care what color it is or how small it is. I would just love to get a large variety goin to get a sweet looking planted clown anemone tank going.

Thanks alot guys.

I got some nice red macro from blockhead a while back. I couldn't figure out the proper lighting/flow so it receded and died on me. It looked good, maybe he still has some.

I have a mangrove tank already with around 20 of them. I want to get plants inside the display. Yeah the red can b tricky but When growing good its a sweet plant.

Thanks for the replies. Anyone else have any plants/ideas

I had collected some extremely nice red macroalgae from the intercoastal waterway this past summer....

but I had to walk from my kayak to the boardwalk in order to meet my family at the end of the day and I didn't want to look like a drunken sailor dredged from the sea (all full of sand and algae) so I ditched the algae :(

redrider i'll hook you up if you make it to roc. i also make it to buffalo once in a while. wet / i'm by MO. i'll give u a small piece to try or sell u a clump if your interested.

Probably the best online source for various "display" macro.

And kudos on the concept. I love macro display tanks. Right up there with gorg tanks as "unconventional" displays that should be more popular than they are IMHO.
