Hey guys, I am please to say that I placed an order for 2 female kuiteri wrasse, Macropharyngodon kuiteri. My not so local LFS is ordering them for me and Im so pumped. I was looking at them yesterday and knew I was headed up today to bring him some fish so I figured Id ask him if QM had any, and Low and behold they DID!! Awe man ill tell you Im a pretty happy wrasse fanatic today. More to come once they arrive next wednesday. I hope everything goes according to plan.

Can't wait to see them!! I saw a female pylei and I am bummed that my tank isn't ready for fish yet(well I have two clowns in QT right now so I can't get any more fish). Hope all goes well for you!

No kidding? I just asked them last week if he'd ship one with my feminius and they said that they did not have any ... lucky you are!!

Feminius!? your the lucky one! I think they just came in. My buddy looked and they werent there earlier this week. I guess you can say i go the hook up! id love a feminius tho but geez expensive with no guarentees... its a real dice roll for my supplier atleast. Goodluck and please please post pics.

Yeah, I've had issues with Bob on the non-DOA guarantee as I'm actually asking for two females. He wants 2x price for the male and I think that's crazy talk. They've apparently been slow to eat at QM so I've been conservative. Anywho, my Lennardi gets to me on Tuesday from Darwin ... LOL.

Good luck to you. I'd love one but my tank is getting a little crowded. I added a choati 2 weeks ago and haven't seen it since. I was on such a good run with the leopards.

She's about 4". Amazing fish IMO. I expected a cool fish, but she's absolutely gorgeous. I kinda wish I would have got a pair now, LOL (isnt that always the case though). I also cant say enough good things about Bluezoo. Highly recommend them.

Funny you should asd. I noticed the ich on the 8line while I was acclimating her to the QT. So now Im stuck putting both of them along with my Potters through hypo. I guess thats what the QT tank is for. Hopefully it all goes well cause my QT is starting to have nicer fish than my display. They all seem to get along great so far.

i dont think im going to QT these..i havent decided. its a tough call bc they are delicate and need an est. system. I am putting my faith in the wrasse gods with this one, but I wasnt going to QT. IDK as i write it i hear how obserd it sounds. maybe I will be rethinking my options. what would you guys do/ have done with leopards? I didnt QT my current leapord or tamarins and have had great success. I dont know well see.

I would. Leopards in general are finicky and I've had much more success with them once they've been fattened up and cleaned of all bugs before going into the DT. Now my QT does have a shallow sand bed which makes it easier for their transition.
