Now go ahead and check the current on each string by placing your multimeter on either side of the resistors to make sure each string is balanced.

I will check tonight, I am waiting on 2 new UV - Violet LEDs. I had 2 go south during the build.

Just happy that I was able to light it last night. Just a matter of time before I can fire it up and leave it on.

Greg,

I think I am balanced, but my readings don't make sense.

From the hot leg after the resistor I am reading .68 on each white string and .06 on each Blue string. The setting on the ohms meter I used was mA~ the multimeter went up to 1000

To balance the strings measure the forward voltage (Vf) of each led and write down your readings of each led on each string. Then calculate the total voltage drop of each string and make sure that number is the same as the other strings. They should be really close you may have to move a few LEDs to get your numbers just right. As for the current the current will be equal on each string once the Vf of each string is balanced. So if the driver is putting out 2A and you have 4 parallel strings the current would be 500mA on each string.

Well all was good for 6 hours and then my Blue driver blew... So much for a LED tank... back to the waiting game,

Woohoo we are up and running, been live for 2 weeks. I am finishing my moonlight build and working on the arduino. Man I love my LED's

Greg,
The replacement driver may get shipped to you, since you are on the original order form.

Great to hear! We need lots of pics now!

If and or when i get it I will let you know so i can give it to you
