Mag holder problem

I am having a problem with the cord on the stream being pressed up against the magnet on the inside of the tank causing the stream to slowly pivot to the right resulting in sand getting blown around. I was thinking about dremmeling a groove in the magnet to give the cord some room but am apprehensive. Is there another solution that will lock the stream firmly on the bracket. Thanks, Jason

I think if you firmly engage the serrations and route the cable down and around this should not be a problem. I would not notch the magnet because the magnets inside will deteriorate very rapidly if exposed to water and their is only a few millimeters of resin encapsulating them. The support bracket in the middle would lose a great deal of integrity if it was notched.
