Magnesium level is low, why?

I have the salifert test kits. And on those your readings are from what's left. At least that's how I interpret the instructions. Is this correct? In other words if your syringe reads 0.3 thats what you look up in the charts.

I watched a couple YouTube videos and in fact the what's left method is correct for salifert.

For Salifert, reading what's left. For Red Sea, reading what's used

I'm glad this tread was started.

I use both Salifert and Red Sea kits and no matter how many times I do it, I have to re-read the instrictions because they are the opposite of each other!

I used to use Red Sea. But in Vietnam, they don't sell separate kits, must buy all 3 MG, KH, CA.

Now, I switch Salifert. At first, I always see the instruction :)
