Magnets

Hi Roger, would you put your magnets in the same category as the Hammerheads as far as strength? I have 1/2" starphire glass & was looking for a magnet that would do the job well. Unlike your other products, your magnets are actually sometimes better priced than your competition. I saw a 220.54 magnet for sale, thanks!

I have never used a Hammerhead so I can't say. The 220.54 is good for 1/2" glass. If you want to be sure the magnet couldn't slip you could get the 220.55. The main difference of a Tunze magnet is that the magnet is completely entombed in epoxy and completely watertight. Also, the pads are replaceable.
