yep nice megs, one of them 4 years in aquarium, what a waste. here is one vid of that old tank, not the best quality

red or purple based ones.. i know you guys dream about red ones and from time to time read topics where people state red ones are more demanding but dunno if thats accurate. Overhere is kinda opposite. Whenever i toured aqua shops in Germany and Netherlands I just saw bunch of red based ritteris and never purple. Fellows anemone lovers here dream of purple ones and speak tales about how difficult to acclimatise to aquarium life they are.. And now I finally got one
Ron few years back you posted some pics of your ritteri/crispa tanks connected to same filter system. It was very inspiring setup, still have them buried somewhere on my HD..
Is this system still alive and if so could you post some new shots? thx.

Jadran, here in Los Angeles I occasionally see the purple based. Two of my mags are purple based (the original one divided over 4 years ago). I didn't find the purple based to be any more difficult to acclimate than the reddish/brown based one. I think the key, as with several of the host species, is getting a healthy one to start with.
