I just bought this magnifica from a lfs that got it from a customer trade in since it was too large for their tank. It's never deflated in the qt the last three days but when I move it to my display tank the mouth looks a bit wide. It still inflated and ate a krill should I be worry and move it back to qt and treat it with cipro?

Once again it never deflated

Well it looks a lot better now the mouth looks smaller than last night.

Nice mag. I think it was just adjusting to your tank parameters. How much lighting do you have? they like a lot. And most would say med to high flow though mine dosen't really seam to care if it gets any. I would leave it alone a day or two more in the dt and see how it does. I also wouldnt recommend feeding it for a few days and let it adjust. Just keep a close eye on it and be ready to treat again if it starts really gapeing or if it starts a inflate/ deflate cycle.

it's under LEDs and it's doing pretty well. Haven't deflated except the 1st day in QT then the next morning it was inflated again. Been inflated for the last 4 days so i figure it's doing ok. It came from another reefer's tank originally before going to the fish store.

Only word of warning is that even a move from one reefer tank to another can be enough to bring down a Mag. The key, IME, is to not have inflate/deflate cycles. If you start to see these (and it can take a week or so for them to manifest) then cipro for seven days may be warranted.
