Does anyone have experience removing majano anemone's from rock by hand?
I bought some rocks with beautiful zoa's on that I'd like to scavenge but I'd first like to remove some of the majano's before I start fragging. I've been able to pull off a couple, but they are in some zoa colonies as well
There are some horror stories on here about majano's taking over tanks, I'd like to prevent that.
Any tips outside of buying a non-reef safe fish would be appreciated.
The best I've heard so far is blocking light and leaving a small light source so the majano's head to it (can't do that because of the zoa's).
Thanks!
Chris
