Majano Me Hate Thee

I have a 28g Nano which due to me traveling too much has bloomed with many a Majano Anemone. I have read far and wide regarding all the solutions joe's juice, aptasia-x, kalk paste, vinegar, lemon juice, elctro-shock therapy, non-reef safe fish (too big for a nano anyways). I have managed to kill a few off, but I have a few rocks that are just carpeted...

I guess I already know what I have to do... start the tank over. Uggh. I never had this problem with my 90g or my 120g. I guess I got lucky and at least this is a small tank...

I have coated them down with kalkwasser paste or aptasia x. Let them sit in it for about 10 minutes then suck them out with a siphon tube. They come off of the rock really easy this way. IT does take some time but you can get them.

Starting over is probably the easiest route unfortunately.

Thanks for the advice and support. I have to wonder "how" the first one got in my tank. I have not added anything in over two years other than water changes (my own RO/DI). Actually, I take that back, I have added snails...

I have killed many a Majano with Joe's Juice. It works every time. Not only does it kill em dead, it dissolves em down to nuthin. In no time at all you can't even tell it was there.

I use Aptasia X and have had some luck but you have to make sure you insert the stuff into their mouth or they just pop back up. Each time I do it I see less and less. Good luck I hope they don't cause you to break the tank down hopefully you find another way.

How much LR do you use?
Cost of new LR VS the cost of trying to clean up what you have, but thats a question only you can answer

Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to try chemical warfare and then "punt" with rebuilding that tank if I can't make progress.

As far as snails carrying Majano... I don't know, but I haven't added anything else.
