Majano or Mejano

Can someone tell me how to get rid of these nuisance creatures. They spread like wild fire. I am begging my RC family!!!!!
Banded butterfly - no
Peppermint shrimp - no - they eat aptasia........

they took over i got them as hitchickers and didnt know any better
i am going to take out all my rock and replace it with new rocks.

in my 50g i have at least 400 of them...

Wow - seriously? Did you have coral in that tank? If so - is it gone now? Just curious...

I have 1 in my 12g that I need to get out... I don't have any corals in the tank... Can my anemone kill it? It's moved to where it's tentacles touch the majano and I'm really kind of hoping my nem will do the job for me... any chance of that?

If I'm not planning on having corals in that tank - any reason why I couldn't just let the majano's be? Would they hurt my H. Crispa?

Just curious... since I'm not having any coral - wonder if they'd make my rocks pretty? Let me know what you think! It's only 4 rocks - so if I ever redo the tank and want corals - I guess I could torch the rock to get rid of them?

ever seen a bad aptasia infestation? imagine that but with colorful lil anemones.

just hate to see them get out of control, they do bother nems when they can touch them.

I don think so, i have quite a few in my tank but my other "better" anems keep them under control. so yes other anemones do kill them, unlike aptasia

Wrong they might move from stinging each other but one can NOT kill the other


in due time you will have nothing but blankets of mojanos thats the only result that can come from leaving them unchecked like i did.

Ok ok... I'll kill the one that's in there... Thought maybe if they wouldn't hurt my big nem that it could be cool to have the rocks covered with them since nothing else is going in there - but i don't want anyone to hurt my nem!

i put a rock with like 100 of them in my tank and they just spread like crazy

i have nems in both my tanks with them and the nems are ok, but the mojanos seem to bother the tentacles they touch.

yes, how long that will take is the question.

I really hate these things they pretty much ruined all my expensive live rock.:mad2:
