Making Water!!!

Did you redo your lighting? I thought you had 4 luminarcs when I came and got the sand, or are those going over the other tank?

Yes, the reflectors in these pictures are Lumen Brights by Coralvue. They were a lot cheaper than the Lumenarc Mini's and I wanted smaller reflectors so I could add VHO's over the long tank.

Wait a second, which Kevin are you talking about?

These guys are all too sophisticated looking to be me. Surely you must be talking about someone else!!!!

Plus this must be an old picture cause Cap looks quite a bit younger in the photo :)

Good to see the water flowing Dave. Are you going to keep the tub going after the tank is set up? Its almost like sitting around a camp fire.

Which Kevin did you think I was talking about:D? I agree that Capo does look quite a bit younger there, these last few years have really been hard on him:eek2:

The 300 gallon stock tank will cure another 300lbs of rock and then I will take it down. I have plans to renovate the basement back there to give it a better look and make better use of the space. I will have 1100 gallons of saltwater in my system and that extra 300 is just more than I want to deal with.

You better not be getting our hopes up, just to let us down again.
I for one am looking forward to, getting into your good music, and raiding your liquor stock, planting my butt on your sofa and enjoying your tanks for a extended weekend. Yep, that sounds like a plan to me.

How lucky am I, Page 2:

Crank that thing up...I want to see water Thursday!!!!!!

Nice skimmer...think it would handle my 58? LOL

All I see is FW trickling into a tank. I'll believe it's SW when I see some corals and fish in it :D I mean, after all, I am from the "show me state" :D

Is that water in there or just drool after hitting the bar instead of working on the tank?

I had all the faith in the world in ya buddy. So what if it's just a glorified water container right now, Like the little boy said after his snake ran under a lawnmower:"It won't be long now!!"

Nook you going to mix salt in the tank with the sand?

Nope, I will add it to the sump#1 and it will mix through 8+ feet of sump and then long runs of 2" pvc on its way back to the tank.

Dave

It was nice meeting you and seeing your set up . That is a nice set up . Can't wait to see it up and running . Its just crazy

If anyone gets a chance to see this setup it worth the look crazy I tell you .

Thanks again

John
