Does the Maldives emperor on DD have a orange or red yellow tail?

Yes.

Maldives emperor just has yellow caudal fins. Some Christmas Island ones have orange tails.

I heard not all Xmas island doesn't develop orange tail that's why only show size one can really display bright orange tail.

Even if you buy one with an orange tail, it's very hard to keep it orange once in an aquarium. The tail gets the orange from the food the fish eats, at least this is speculated. I had an orange tail awhile back and it was a fight to keep the tail orange. It did lighten up in color, but I sold the fish and ultimately I have no clue how the tail ended up looking.

I have also seen orange tailed emperors in the Seychelles.

Red Sea ones can also have very orange tails.
