the strangest things have been going on in my tank lately...

i have a mini carpet anemone that has since split into three carpets(about 3")...last month i added a GBTA(about 3").

previously, the clowns played host in no one...well the female often played in the GSP...i have since got that out to replace it with the GBTA...

now my male clown has been aggressively playing in one of the carpets, however everytime he goes to play in it, the female lays the smack down on him...and since they have a cool little personality, everytime she turns her head he goes right back into the carpet...very wierd since the mini carpet arent hosting nems...i have to shoot a vid of this...it is hilarious..

stranger still is if he goes to play in the GBTA, she does nothing but sit back and watch him..

and to top it all off, both clowns like to spend time in the GBTA, but at night both reside in my green fungia...

is this considered strange behaviour for Occelaris clowns? i didnt even expect them to host in the GBTA...but as soon as it was added they went right to it..

I have a pair of occelaris clowns that host in my H.Crispa. Also not a natural host but they like it. Clowns will host anything really I would not call it weird. As for the female laying the smack down it is kinda like real life house shopping with a wife.....the guy is like hey hunny lets live here and the female says no..but instead of just saying no kick the @#$% out of him....just be glad that were not treated as bad as fish .... everything seems fine though.

oh yeah everything is good...my wife and i sat here and laughed our butts off for about an hour...we where even doing voice overs for them...i was the boy...and i even said that too...LOL...their personality just really makes me laugh..
