male didn't eat today

i got a mated pair ocellaris last week and all has been great but today the male didn't leave the anemone all day.. he looks good not breathing heavy
they both are non stop eating machines so this struck me as odd
i'm new to this so i'm a bit worried
checked my water and all is good the only thing i changed was i added a few corals on friday eve xenia a frogspawn and a few candy canes
any clues ?

he was under the anemone most of the day now he has been in it most of the night
what would the eggs look like and where do they usually lay them
i'm going to do a search

so far the only sympthoms is he still is not eating his eyes look well
he dosen't seem to have any of the other symptoms
this is going into day 3 with no food what can i do i don't want to lose this guy

What are you feeding him? I would try something different, Frozen Cyclopeeze generally works well.

so far i gave mysis shrimp ,pellets ,flakes and cyclo-peeze and nothing
this morning he was swimming around he looked ok
he was in and out of the anemone i'm at a loss

A healthy fish can go up to 2 weeks without food before serous issues arrise, BUT that being said... usually a healthy fish wont refuse food thats offered either.

are these wild caught fish? Could have internal parasites, do they have long stringy poo?

i believe tank raised and no stringy poo
the female is eating fine the male is starting to bother me
he just spends most of his time in the anemone dosen't swim far from it at all

he has left the anemone and started swimming around has taken food BUT not eating it. he spits out everything i give
