Male H. erectus died. How do I keep mate company?

My male H. erectus died from complications from GBD. His mate grieved and would not eat for two days. It has now been a week and I was wondering what to do to keep her company until I get another H. erectus companion. I don't want to put another seahorse in for a few weeks just to make sure that she is ok and not getting sick. Will she be ok alone for a period of time? Are there other fish that she would consider company?

Advice is appreciated. Thank you ahead of time.

She should be alright, if lonely. I have heard of this happening before, and the surviving seahorse has been living alone for a few years now, so your seahorse should be just fine since this is temporary. Putting a mirror up to the side of the tank might help, in the meantime. I mean, I don't know if seahorses can recognize themselves in mirrors or not, but it can't hurt. Sorry for your loss! That really sucks.
