Male Pink Margin Wrasse- Never Seen Any Like This Pic

I have wondered this for a while now and have just gotten around to posting. On RHS, they have a pic of a male pink margin wrasse that is unlike any I have ever seen. Their picture has the fish with an almost white body and then markings on the head, tail, and dorsal fin. If you search "male pink margin wrasse" on google however, the only picture that has the white body is the RHS one. Here's the RHS pic: http://www.reefhotspot.com/store/popup_image.php?pID=3352


What's up with this? I'm not saying anything agains RHS for the record, they're an awesome site with awesome customer service and quality, I'm just curious.

i agree..the RHS is of a mature male..i have seen plenty with the white color like that

The male shown on the top is still young; mature males possess very long pelvic fins, and even immature males may turn almost entirely white while they are being very excited or scared.

Really large males also sometimes have a point at the end of their tail.
