ok so will a Spotted Mandarin eat brine shrimp and has anyone gotten them to eat frozen food

Unless your tank has been set up for a year or more, you need to wait. I would also be interested in your tank size.

It appears from your other posts your tank has been set up for less than 3 months and you have added a anemone and some clownfish. Also, it is a 29 biocube.

Is that correct?

no i have a 29 bio-cube that has been up for more then a year
this would go in a 200 tank that has been set up for 3 months. but it was set up with live rock sand and water from a tank that was set up for a year

What he said. It doesn't matter about the other tank. You need to give your setup chance to mature.

You could try seeding your tank with a bottle of pods and letting them breed for a few months.

It would just depend on the system imo. I seeded my tank/fuge with a couple bottles and they have multiplied at least 10x in the past 4 months.
