Mangroves in overflow.. growth pic

I added these mangroves a little less than 5 months ago... pretty cool addition to my tank and seem to be growing fairly well... I have been reading about bonsai with mangroves and might give it a try as they grow so they will arch around the light more without blocking it...

Anyway.. in early June

I would guess that's possible... but also could be avoided by just keeping an eye one where the roots grow and how big etc.. I also think it would take a really long time for that to happen
 
Sorry didn't see your post before now... I.moved and downsized tanks, lost on mangrove but the others are going strong.. getting bigger and adding leaves.. I really want to clip them to make them branch... I just keep chickening out haha... here is a pic of them on my 30 shallow currently...

Halimeda is looking very nice. Nice scape overall. You cannot over do the light intensity on the mangroves, but you can add way too much heat that fries the leaves out.
