ive had them for one week and man are they fun to watch!

oh, and is it just me or are these fish not afraid of humans, i can do anything i want in my tank and my fish arent bothered at all, infact they get closer to my hand just to see what im doing. hahaha man i love these fish.

my false percs come right up to me (normally they attack my hand) but my clarkii's are scared of me and hide. I have also had my false percs a lot longer than my clarkii's so maybe thats why.

Agreed, false percs are incredible fish. Mine do as yours do and I work in an LFS whenever I go anywhere near the false perc tank or put my hands in there for any reason they are all over me.

Thanks to this they are by far the easiest fish in the entire store to catch. When someone wants a pair usually all I have to do is stick the specimen container in the tank and almost instantly two swim right inside. :lol:

I love my false percs too. My male is a little more skiddish than the female, though both of them will eat of my hand. They will always be my favorite fish. I could sit in front of my tank and watch them for hours!
