BTW, that's a nice mantis you guys caught there .. I love mine, he has his own personality and I hear him smash something everyday all day in my 20 Gal Nano ..

You can check out this big mantis on the Mantis Cam Sometimes you will catch him, sometimes not. He is in the rock directly in front of the camera when centered.

i picked it up today , david it will be happy in his little home in the 10gal with the other mantis in its '' isolation chamber '' kritter carrier, i even drilled out a piece of base rock so it would have some privacy and somthing to call a home , im still determaning its id either a smithi or wennerae

New Mantis Discovered today and he is GREEEEEEEEEEN!!! Not like peacock green, like cryptonight green or neon green...

Any ideas on what he is? (he may be a peacock...we have not seen his whole body )

from what i have heard they have limited how much rock can be harvested from there anymore. and what you will find willl be a bit pricey.

I have heard the same about that Marshal Island rock, and if you can find it, it is expensive, like $15/lb before shipping.

Hello, Ihavtat's spousal unit here, I just got home form work and I happen to see Snakemanvet's Mantis out and about since we are still holding it for him, so I thought I might share with you guys how he is doing lol ... Kinda funny how he just posed for me to take a pic of him ....
