Dave, yeah this mantis is so interactive that earlier, it was trying to smash the snail that was on top of the carrier it is in, but unforetunately, the mantis couldn't get to it, so jim fed it =0)

if all the rock is from tampa bay saltwater there will not be any peacock's

There actually is no peacock. It's just a green mantis, but WAY cool! He carries your name if I ever catch him....

I have been debating about ordering a peacock mantis,dave(dezones) order one that was 5'' and it had alot red and blue.It was really cool.He lost it during a molt.

at five inchs they are about full grown and its harder for them to molt if you do buy one try to request a small one
