That rock is actually good size, I could probablly get 20 frags of ten polyps or more.
Shooting for 10 to 12 polyps per frag, but you know how that goes.
I will will get another rock of another zoanthid coloration and do the same thing with it, so I will have 15 frags of each kind, unless I can find two smaller rocks of good looking zoas...

Anyways, just making sure that is what you meant by colorful.
I will get as many diffrent kinds as I can.

They certainly would not be considered brown, ugly, or common undesirables. They would certainly fall into what I meant by colorful zoo's.

I am voting no on the green based yuma. However if you have a non macro shot that shows them in a regular setting I could be subject to a change of heart.

Wait I got lost in the HUSTLE here ...... I feel like I am back in the city again. See and this is why I moved up to the SLOW paced stix! Just joking so sorry which one do you need a closer picture of? The favia has 3 heads in the picture did you want it down to one?

We will s l o w down the thread to make you feel at home :) The favia is in, and the corals you posted are gorgeous, we look forward to seeing them at the swap :)

Also wanted to know if I bring in 4 rare and 10 coral to counter act as another rare will that work? So that we can have 3 bounus rounds?

Thanks about the coral, we are so excited to go to our first swap and see what you all have.

so how does the swap work. i read the other thread and i understand how the bouns picks work. but how does the regular picks work? for ever common you get a pick? i am going to bring 6 rare and about 15 or so good color common corals. thanks clay

Softies: Yes, 10 max please - this helps ensure that we have a good selection of corals.

Swapping: When you arrive and check in your frags, you will be assigned a random picking group. All you need is a minimum of three frags and each person is only able to be assigned to one pick group. We highly encourage folks to bring more, but 3 is the minimum. This assigned ticket will allow you entrance to the pick areas whenever that group is up. For example, if you are part of group 3, every time group 3 is up for picking, you show your ticket and go find some nifty stuff to take home.

Bonus picks: Bonus tickets will be given to those who bring qualified extraordinary frags to to the swap. If you bring enough extraordinary frags and qualify for all 3 bonus rounds, you will have your 3 bonus tickets and of course your normal pick group ticket too! There will only be 3 bonus rounds total.

The picking will continue in the designated normal picking order until there are no more frags left on the tables.

Let me know if you have any questions!

The 10 softie rule applies to rare consideration only. Feel free to bring as many softies as you like if it is for the good of the swap :)

How large are the acan polyps? I think we're generally asking for a frag to be at least two, preferably three acan polyps, right Paul? The value of a number of acans seems to have taken a nose dive in the last two months. Very nice though. What sort of lighting is that under?

Will any of these qualify for rares? Also North Coast Reefers has quite a few members coming. Should I send a member list to someone?
