So i believe i am ready to host the meeting.....I live near the airport now for those of you who were wondering the location......I don't know what we want to do about food......but I have a Weber grill if that sparks ideas.....I am excited for you guys to see the new project that I have been working on with matt....

I am glad you posted now Geoff...we were getting worried.
I actually may not be able to go to this one if it's on the 17th (which it should be), unless it's really early in the day or something. But don't plan things around me at all. That would be two of Geoff's meetings in a row that I've missed! hah hah. Nothing personal man!

Because we are having a big get together for St. Patty's Day and I am not sure what time it starts. I may or may not have a friend in town who I don't want to subject to our Reef nerdiness. hah hah.
So if it's early and he's not here...great! If it's later and he's in town...nope.
I sure do hate to miss seeing everyone though...so I'll probably end up being there...no worries!

Hey guys.
Sorry I wasn't able to make it up to the last meeting. Things are quite hectic. I would like to come to this meeting though, although that's looking like it may be sketchy. My wife and I are expecting a baby here ANY DAY NOW. The baby is due on March 22nd, but she's getting to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if the baby came tomorrow.
Needless to say, I noticed the club meeting was on the 17th.
Alcoa Airport is pretty easy to find. I live in Athens myself, so it's a bit of a drive, but no biggy. Glad to see things are held on a Saturday.
Is there a rough time that it's going to be held? Or is it still up in the air?

PS I'm looking for a good reef club to join that's close to my area and I've heard some great things about yours!
Just a quick background...
My wife and I started keeping salt water last March and went straight into reef keeping. Before that we had only kept freshwater for a few months. Things are going wonderfully and I just finished up with a great looking cabinet that completely encloses my 29 gallon. I'm really interested in learning how to keep more corals and other aspects of a healthy reef.
