margarita snails dropping...

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but my margarita snails will fall off the glass and onto the sand bed and then stay there. This just keeps happening and they never seem to want to right themselves. I have reached in and put them back up on the glass but it is starting to get ridiculous. So I stopped helping them and I lost two yesterday. I have cerith snails and they are fine so I don't think they should be starving to death. Any ideas?

My turbos do it all the time

I thought temperature might have been the issue. My tank is usually 81F +/- 0.5 from dawn to dusk. Liveaquaria says 72-78 for them (along with nearly everything else btw).
