Marine Ich

Hi All!

I have a 75 gallon setup, with a 3 inch yellow tang, and a 3 inch flame angel. Ive just noticed today what looks like marine ich developing on the flame angel. Ive done some research and have found that the only SURE cures for this is the hypo salinity and copper treatment. Since my tank is a fish only setup i am leaning towards the copper treatment. Is this ok? How should i go about this treatment? What brand copper med should i use? I really want to start treatment immediatley. Thank you all in advance!

PS. Is coppersafe by mardel, used for the copper treatment?

tank has been running for 3 months now. Ick appeared shortly after introducing the flame angel.

I think Tank Transfer is also a sure thing. Copper (I prefer Cupramine) is next to impossibly without a QT/HT. The LR absorbs and releases Cu, making testing Cu almost impossible. Hypo is extremely demanding..........you really need a QTY/HT to treat and prevent new fish from bring even deadlier parasites in.
