Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

Great FTS Mark. I didn't know that you lost some fish. Sorry to hear that, which ones?

Thanks Dan, I tried to make this one a little larger than usual.

As for the fish, I lost my oldest joc and the naoko, just three days apart. Somehow the joc got stuck in between two rocks and the naoko jumped through the netting and bounced out off the back wall. RIP my friends :(

Not quite the best, but that tank is slowly making its way back. Minus a couple of my favorite fish and corals, I still haven't pulled the plug quite yet :thumbsup:

Tank looks great Mark!

Oh no. Not the naoko and one of your jocs! Sorry for your loss bro. Your corals on the other hand are looking awesome. :)

Thanks Frankie. The joc was a surprise as I was watching the tank the night before and they were fine. I was shocked to find it wedged in the rocks :(

Am I the only one thinking the tank looking better than before? I mean overall looking.

Maybe because of less corals and rest of colonies get bigger.

I imagine if mark you can setup a separate chalice tank and empty out the bottom, the tank will look 2 times sweeter. You have amazing collection of chalice it is just too many colors in the tank.

*hope you don't feel offended because of my newbie thought, I am a fan here with good intention and enjoy the time here to look at your tank and corals.

Thanks, but it takes more to offend me than telling me I have too much color for your liking. I will tell you this that I am closer to tearing this tank down than to setting up another ;)

Sorry to hear about your loss of 2 beautiful fish Mark... :(

Thank You Sara. The tank is not the same without the jocs doing their thing :( The sadness from its loss and my friends tank disaster have left me pondering my priorities :sad1:

I've never heard of too many colors in a reef tank being a bad thing either, I thought thats what we all strive for. Tank looks great, sorry to hear about the fish losses.

That's a first :lol:

Looks great as always Mark, glad to see you with a little more interest in the tank.

That PPT is :eek2::hmm3::spin2:

Thanks Ian. Keep bringing in all of those awesome pieces as I will need to fill in a couple gaps and trim back a few of my pieces :thumbsup:
