... It has also made me think about getting another prime lens; maybe the 85mm. I know that this could just be the "want" in me as I should be saving my pennies for a 24-70 :p
You can't go wrong with any Nikon prime! I notice that you like taking macros - Tamron makes a legendary 90mm macro you can pick up for around $370. You can get some unbelievable sharpness out of one. Of course a 24-70 nothing to sneeze at.

Thanks Tom, I have the Nikon 105mm f/2.8 for macros. That is an awesome portrait lens. As you said, they are extremely sharp.

105 bigger = more acurate capture of image?

3 days now I have been saying to myself - "A clean sump is a happy sump"

The larger the number means either the closer or the thfurther you can shoot; I know its a bit confusing. That would be the mm of the lens, ie 105mm. The speed of the lens is the f/stop; ie 2.8.

I guess its time to change my signature line :p

How about a group shot that represents what my entire sand bed looks like these days :p

Wow - where do you buy? Everywhere?

My sump is sort of happy..

105mm knew that, actually it does make sense, area or range to manipulte lens.

In my smaller tank there is a real DSB, there must be 8 million little worms and pods in that tank. I am thinking Mandrin.

I buy everywhere Tony. I also have the collection I have because I have done a "few" trades with different hobbyists. Thats part of the fun. The only down side is that you end up with an overly packed tank :(
