Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

I just looked and my SCE bill is running about $175ish and all in with fees ~ $0.20 per KWH. I use on average ~900-950 KWH per month.

Yep, its just the final decision to do it. I was thinking of the 15" between the reflectors or two 30" ones in the back angled towoard the tank. Either way, its going to take me to get one of each (at least) and get you over for a day to help with the design and install  Let me know if you are around this weekend to get a last look at my canooy before I place the order ;)

Personally, I'd go for a pair of 30's along the back.

As for time, no can do this weekend as I'm working and have Jaidens birthday party on sunday, which I already have to deal with getting time off for. I'm off the next 2 days if you want to try sometime in the evening after you get home from work.

Thats what I was thinking as well Jeremy. Why don't I just get a pair and we'll schedule some time once I have them ;)

Sorry JT, I think we will have to worry about the LED's another time. I spent my fish wad for the month already

Kenny, I was looking at the reefbrites and the coralsky LEDs. They were not going to replace anything, but I was just looking to add something new. But like I said, that project will be on hold until after BAYMAC.

Nice! I thought you might have picked up the bluelined pair, but both the pair and the individual were still available when you posted........Did Richard or Frank find one for you, or are you going a different direction?:spin1:

Nope. I'm still getting the 4.5" one at BAYMAC...

Dang Mark that is one packed canopy. I bet your electric meter spins like a 78 record when they're all on :crazy1: (Don't really know how fast it spins relative to CDs but I thought that I would date myself.)

Heck you're almost dating yourself with CD's these days, lol!~ Everything is satellite and iTunes anymore...

However, I'm with you and will date myself too and say I can remember the 78's too!~

Cool. I was looking at replacing my T5's with the Reef Brites also b/c of issues with the IceCap ballasts. Maybe after I go through my remaining bulbs :)

Be curious to know what you think of your new led supplemental lighting Mark? I've often toyed with the idea of adding a few to add some more POP!~
