Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

Thanks everyone. The tank is slowly coming back. I'm still have some residual issues, but I think over time that I will be better off for going through this

I do agree that the BL looks nice :D

Looking nice Mark. You area braver man then I. I have been wanting to get a Centropyge multicolor for my tank but I just can't pull the trigger.

What are you afraid of? The multi will not kill any corals. The only thing is that you might lose the all important PE on "some" corals (Read me signature line). I have better PE on some corals than I ever did before I added three angels to the tank

Because I only have a few mini colonies and about 18-20 frags so I don't know it they could handle the stress that it might cause on them. I am still recovering from a full tank loss about 7 months ago.

your tank look awesome..
can you post a high resolution FTS...i want to use it as wallpaper purpose..

Thanks, but I did not take that last picture so that's all I have. I also really don't have any high resolution photos as my computer was stolen a few months back. Check back in a few weeks to a month and I will see if I can't get some new photos up.

There is only one way to find out. IME, fish do not go after the same coral time and time again. Its more like a grazing of liverock and the corals are attacked to the lr. I have frags in my tank as well

Nope not me this time:lmao:

But hey if you have kids, send them down to the golf course enterence to sell them to golfers to make some extra money.

No kids, but I do have a happy contractor. Gave him a gallon-sized Ziplock bag of golfballs the last time he came over. Have another bag-full now :D

It cracks me up when I watch these golfers climb up the hill searching for lost golfballs. One time, I was in the backyard and a golfer came up to me asking if his ball was in my yard. I asked him, "Probably. Tell me which one of THESE is yours" :lmao:

My friend Tony Vargas stopped by this last weekend. Here are two pictures he snapped and processed

This is what a tank that is crashing looks like? I'd be happy with that. Like always it's a stunner! Keep up the good work. Love the BL. How big do they get and is he nippy?

Thanks Tony, The BL is part of the "large" angel crew and I should ba able to watch it grow for a few years to say the least. Its an angel so it nips, but so far it has not gone after any one type of coral; but that could also change at a moments notice :fun5:

Why is it that with all of the fish in that tank, the lone Chromis is the most visible?

That's what I'm here for, to get Mark going again. A small dose of JT goes a long way:beer:
