Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

LOL Dam Mark you come in and just give us a tease like that...been wondering where you have been. Any pic's of that simplex you picked up that day at neptunes?

Sorry, but it died in an extra strong dip/QT.

I gave up on the online side of the hobby. I don't enjoy the way people push names/prices/something "rare" so I've fallen very disinterested in the hobby. I still like the tank, but not the ego's.

Cheers! :)

You still gota very nice tank, I hope my upgrade can be half of what you have. Keep up the good work and hope to see more pictures in weeks vs. months. :)

Holy moly Mark, that's looking better than ever! Some absolutely gobsmacking corals in your care good sir :)

Mark, I think your tank looks better then ever since its been thinned out. Its much easier to see the individual corals and how much work you have put into them to get them to grow so huge! I also love your coral choices, simple and beautiful that have withstood the test of time.

I agree with you about the coral naming fad and a subset of people on the internet. I was at a local frag swap/reef expo and a few people were trying really hard to push tyree chalices and named zoanthids on me, because someone into SPS like myself must love "rare corals". Stick to your guns, the tank looks great!

Looks awesome Mark! Man you PPT is insane! Did the Pink Panther end up passing your tests/dips?

The PPT frag has been a touchy one for me but its still hanging in there and finally beginning to stabilize in the new 95. It looked amazing for the longest time than seemingly over night it got real thin and had minimal to no PE day or night, I thought it was done but it's a fighter!

Anyway looking great dude.

Thanks everyone :)

Josh, The PPT is a fighter for sure. Unfortunately, the PP hung on for about a week, but that was about all.

Cheers!
