Thanks guys.

Actually, I was going to start it this weekend because I haven't done much other than order the tank :)

I'll start building the canopy on Saturday, so I was gonna get a thread going as soon as I have some progress to share :)

More to come....

Sorry Mark, didn't mean to T-bone your thread :D

I think I am the one who T-boned it. I just was feelin a little fiesty earlier on. I am too tired now so I will stay on topic for the rest of the evening.

Hows that black film coming along? It looked great earlier. I was going to paint mine, but that stuff is clean bro!

I started the day with a few items on my to do list

Prepare brute garbage cans for transfer--check

Clean out old 55 gallon to house most of the corals in during the transfer and then proceed to do a water change and start filling tank--check

Install black background and take off canopy to work on VHO's ( I also got in my electrical switch panels)--check

Since I am getting down to crunch time, I wanted to take a brief moment and snap a few general shots of the hooptie before the tear down. I understand that this is only a 90 gallon, but it is what has inspired me and awed me to journey down the build I am having a blast doing.

I took some shots in auto which are the blue representations of my helios 20K and actinics. I also shot a couple in manual mode that was previous set with an expodisc. I did not really care what I was shooting. I just wanted to get some documentation done before I start tearing it down.

Thank you to those who have helped me so far and thank you to those who just lurk as well. I was that person for a long time as well.

I know that the clarity is not spot on, it was hard enough to take the pictures with tears in my eyes. :sad2:

I still need to go to HD so I can wire my VHO's tonight. I was very happy to get the truss installed. I feel a big relief. I hope you guys enjoyed the picture show.

LOL! That's what I looked like after crawling out from underneath my house Mark. My daughter wouldn't go near me like yours is, she thought a monster came from under the house.

Good luck with the transition.

OOOH MAN THAT LOOKS GOOOOOOOD!

Check this out... rewind a little.

I can't even get a good night sleep anymore. I don't know about you guys, but when I get to then end of a project, I just can't wait to get it finished.

I have a few more items on a to do list for today. It seems like they are all pretty simple, but just will take a little bit of time.

I woke up thinking about what fish are going into the new tank and what fish did not make the cut.

So far, Team 180 :D

Achilles tang
Powder Blue tang
Copperband butterfly
Radiant wrasse
Mandarin goby
Lyretail Anthias (1 male, 1 submale, 3 females)

Team No Go :hammer:
Blue tang
Six line wrasse
Royal gramma
ORA Balck percs (spawning)

Team Hopefully not the last one picked :twitch:
Flamehawk
Diamond spot goby (had for 2+years)
Stiens shrimp Goby
Lawnmower blenny (had for 2+ years)

I just went out to check the water temp and it looks like a need to add another heater. 73 degrees is not that bad, but I have my tank 77-78 right now. Luckily I was going to Your Reef today to get some more glue, salt and other assorted goodies :D

I'll meet you there... :)

John said he got some really nice tangs and wrasses in. He and Rob went to LA yesterday :D

Mark, check on them Achilles for me :)

Regarding your stocking list, I think you should keep the lawnmower. Those guys have too much personality. Also think you should keep the percs, but if you don't want them, I'll take em off your hands :)

I saw a Japanese Black Blenny once I I never forgot. Hopefully Gabe will chime in. I have someone who wants the Black clowns as she has started breeding clownfish. If she does not want them I will let you know. Do you have an anenome? I want then to go to a good home. Ever since I removed mine, I think they have been sad. That is the reason I am getting rid of them.

No anemone. I'm hoping my clowns will host either my frogspawn or hammer. I understand if you want them to go to a real home though :)

my friend clown host the bubble coral :D. will the achilles and PBT be added together? which one will be bigger or same size?
