I made a LFS run this afternoon with Jeremy and my daughter Emma. She has so much Jedi mind control that Jeremy walked out with a Flame wrasse. I just got some color fish.

Bartletts- Pseudanthias bartlettorum

And what I believed was some morph of a rosy scale fairy wrasse-Cirrhilabrus rubrisquamis Either way, it was too good of a deal to pass up on.

After that, Jeremy and I headed straight to get some bird netting to protect our floors.

I just got done doing doing the whole battery of tests and everything looks great. Sometimes my friends imply that I tend to overreact when I am passionately involved in something. Ya' think.

I have lost a few acros and I am not down playing any or the speedbumps I have had to trudge through, but I feel so much better. I have another 40 gallons of SW ready to go for tomorrow's change.
I think tonight is the night that the rhomboids will move from the qt to their new home. BTW, is it me, or does a UV just make you feel better as a fish owner?

To be honest Dan, these are the first Bartletts I have tried. After losing all of those anthias, it was time for a change. I tried to search on the iphone when I was at the store, but it was getting late so I just grabbed these three. There was a school of about 15. They all were very similar and had had the front spike. I am still learning my anthias.

There are very nice. Also remember that they are in a white bucket so their colors are contrasted

It seems like it has been forever since I have had true actinics. T5's are nice, but nothing compare to the pop of VHO's. People can debate it all they want, but the visuality of VHO's is second to none. My corals are brown, some are dying and others are gasping for life. I have some that have tissue peeling on them and they still look good. I am so glad that I went this way; and the radiums aren't even fired, Umm radiums


Let me introduce my 180 under VHO's

I still have a lot of work to do and I am not in the clear. It should be fun to use the camera again. It will take a few good sessions to get the WB even close.
