The tank is running...

But the dart is too much for the way I have it plumbed through the UV. I will worry about that later.

Awesome!!! happy for ya!

Sorry to hear about all your problems. Looks like you pulled thru and got some nice work done! Keep chugging looks like you are almost done, then you can start upgrading...

Woo Hoo, way to go Mark. I agree with GSMguy, small pump and feed the UV on its own rather. I bet everyone is really happy at your house to hear the sound of water coursing through the pipes :D.

UVs only work well with low flow, are you running a dart thru a UV before it returns to the tank?

i would plumb the uv separately from the sump with a small feed-pump no???

Nick, the UV is gravity feed thru the drain to the fuge. It is only like 600 gph at best. A good friend of mine does his beautiful 300 gallon reef like that. It I can get away with one less pump I will give it a try. If anything I can chang it later.

I thought you had a ball valve on there to adjust it?

I do; I have 6 :D

Tell me about it. After all the causualties and stress, it would of sucked to not have the tank up for your visit ;)

Thanks everyone. UPS just showed up with a new ballast harness. My goal is to get this thing fired up by Sunday.

Since I have no lights its not the best shot. Especially since its lit by a strip light, but here's a little tease of my reef canyon :D

What makes you think I'd ask for a nog shot? :p I really have to clean up my rep around here :D

Mark, that looks cool. Even with little light...that little canyon shot reminds me of Steve Weast's tank.

Looking good Mark. Keep going. We're all rooting for you buddy.

Sorry to hear about some problems and some losses Mark. But it looks like its coming along there.

Thanks guys. I have some more losses to report; The achilles :( was doing the worst this morning and he swims no more. I have also lost a few acros, but I got my contoller, heater and all of my powerheads hooked up. This is when a person finds out what acros he really likes.

This has been a long a tedious process. I just want a break. I woke up this morning to a small ammonia spike. It was between 0 and .25. So with all the transfer issues, then the heat issues and now this, it is taking a toll on the corals. I have already pulled a couple frag skelatons out.

To correct this I did a 40 gallon WC, added some bio-whatever its called, added a poly filter and hooked up a reactor with ammonia media. :(

BTW, I would also like to personally thank Warren over at Reeffragz. I have heard that Warren was the man when it came to fish, but yesterday I was albe to benifit from it myself.

Short version of yesterday

Ok? Ok! :)

Tonight? Tonight! :D

I'll be home in 15 mins. I am on my way

I introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis
They both ate some of my special recipe in the QT after only 2 hours.

Mark,

That sucks to hear about your loses. I was just helping Jimdogg with his canopy and he was saying your tank was the nicest he has seen. "If you wanna feel better ask Jim about his canopy" Sorry Jim

BTW. Was just at Aqualife and they have the best looking achilles i have ever seen and it is huge would say around the 8-10" range $135. I'm sure they would hold it for you until you get out of the clear here.

Pm me if you ever need help

Davey

I just caught up on your thread. Wow what a roller coaster ride. But it will all be worth it, especially when you acquire beautiful fish like those!
