Willan - I've read over on the Reef Chemistry forum, that making saltwater will sometimes leave a white residue, which never goes into solution. Randy HF says that this is normal and nothing to worry about. I experience the same. What *helps* for me is to make up the entire batch of RODI (50 gallons) before adding the salt. When I add the salt, I add it in 3 smaller batches (instead of pouring the whole bag in)

wow...I'm almost lost this reply ,thank you for shareing your experience for me ,I'll keep in mind because usually I'm poured the whole bag of salt in to the water...may be that is my mistake:(

then I've interesting the TUNZE salt...but here is not this salt ..I'm so despond...

Today was pretty cool. Our local club had a quaint little auction today with John Dakan of Yourreef.com, Steve Tyree and Eddie Hanson; aka Eddie's purple monster and the RIP store tropical Paradise.

Steve was presenting at MARS last night and the place was packed. Today, it was a little different. To my surprise, there were not as many people as I had expected. I am glad I showed up :D

My new Strawberry Red Fungia
It is still in that shade, but it is so sweet. Thanks again Eddie ;)

I also picked up an LE to be, the pink cadillac monti from reefready and rommel's rainbow staghorn.

My friends Brian and Alicia came up this morning from Napa this morning bearing gifts. Brian delivered a frag of his LE to be Stargazer chalice and a decent sized frag of mings Shades of fall acro. Thanks again Brian.
Alicia was picking up her frag of Mengs mummy eye that we picked up a couple weeks back. It was nice to show the tank to Alicia especially because things are so much better off than the last time she was up a few weeks back.

Time to get some glue out before I have some visitors tomorrow :)

Nice Fungia!:eek2: I've been eyeing a couple lately, but can't stomach the price tags on the bright red ones. That Pink Cadilac sure stands out.

 I just can not stop dancing

I even made jambalaya, which is my favorite and I can not stop posting pics of it :D

Nice goodies, Mark! Your thread is still alive! :)

Yep, I am done with the upgrade, so now it will just turn into a thread that will be littered with 5 star rated eye candy :eek1:

Thanks. Do you guys think it is wrong if I rate my own thread

The problem is I splurged a little lit today and I did not think I was going to even bid. I went to drop off off some directions and then I saw the red fungia and Emma was smiling at me. I knew it was all over at that point. She was telling me earlier today that she wanted a gem tang. I told her no, so on her 17th month birthday, we settled for this :D

I think a mothers day trip to bacfm is a little bit out of the question now :hmm2:

LOL, you're cracking me up. Sure, you can even nominate yourself TOTM! Emma is magic. She can sure pick out that eye candy! BACFM was never a possibility! It's a test! :D

Nice stuff Mark.

Brian has some great peices/tank. Saw his tank about a month and a half ago the thing is just packed full of LE corals.

Brian has a great collection. Its really cool because we really started collecting around the same time. His 90 was about 4-5 months older than mine was.

I usally dont get into the favia type stuff but there were 2 that Tyree put up on the screen last night that were awesome.

forgot the names one was somethinjg like robbakakis

Do you remember Mark?

C'mon Davey, of course I remember. I am a coral connesiour :D

The true robokaki is one of the chalices. I do remember his eye of jupiter, baby's breath, sunburst and pot of gold slides. It was funny because Brian and I were in the back talking about where we got each one of the pieces as they were being shown.

This was a couple pages back. It was taken last Sat.

The robokaki wa snot for auction today. I know that there are two pieces in town. One is in Johns display and the other one in a few pages back as well.
