Mike, You would be very happy with the AquaC. I saw and H&S today and it was nice too. It also had the cool screw on lid. I will never use those little plastic screws again.
I took a drive today to see a very mature reef tank. It was very nice to see it in person and to chat a little about names like Dalton, Alex, Rich, Jesus and Eddie.
Its been a month since I've ran a full battery of tests so here are the results. I did my last water change 10 days ago, so I'll take these.
DKH-9.5
Ca-425
Mg-1400
NO3-10
PO4-<.05
(all elos kits)
My achilles is working through a little ich, but it is eating like a champ and still munching on the rocks. The good thing about starfire is that you can actually see it on the glass when the ich are in their hatching stage.
I lost my female rhomboids yesterday morning. I came out to do my morning feeding, I lifted the canopy, and there she was; all dried on the netting.
Two of my bartletts paired up and I believe they are getting ready to play some disco music because one of them has turn very territorial and has banished the third bartlett to the other side of the tank. I also believe that it was that bartlett that caused the rhomboid to get startled. Last week, I was pretty down on the tank so I was lazy and did not put the extra egg crate on the tank at night.
