Mark, all I can say is WOW! The tank looks absolutely AMAZING!!! I wanted to ask you a question about your canyon. Did you need to add anything to brace it or are the rocks just sitting on top of each other? Also, great job on building that stand. It looks great as well and is very functional.

Thank You Rudy. My rocks are not touching any walls. I had a plenty of rock to choose pieces from to make sure they fit right. I also am not afraid to trim or break rocks to get the shape I need.

Glad to hear, Rich. May I suggest a tank that won't take up too much of your time? I can understand the wife factor. Hell, my wife doesn't even acknowledge my tank. I'd go with a custom wide tank, under 200g.

That's funny that you mention this. I helped a friend of mine set up a 29g Biocube a few months ago. All the fish were doing great and then they all died within 48 hrs. I asked what he did to the tank. He said he couldn't remember anything bad. He did say he was painting the room next to it. I bet the fumes got in the tank and they died. The fish were all fine and eating the day before he started painting. Coincidence? I also tested for ammonia and it was at 0. What do you guys think?

Yeah guys, I'm getting closer. And yes i was thinking of something smaller that won't take up so much time and energy...also I want it to be glass this time around.

Actually i still have a couple of rooms to paint and a partial kitchen remodel to do b/f the tank...so needless to say it's not going to be right away.
