:D. how long are you letting the food soaked? any other ingredients besides that. i just made another 3 months supply and made some minor changes in my recipes.

I get the Big Brick of PE mysis and I split up into 3rds. I also use 2 hikari enriched brine, 1 Hikari blood worms, 1 Hikari Mega Marine, 1/2 stick of frozen cyclopleeze, selcom, and garlic extract.

I soak in water for close to an hour. I have a fine stainless steel strainer (wedding gift) and I run water over it until the drip off is pretty clear. I out it in sandwich baggies. That is when I add the cyclopleezem selcon and garlic. I place it flat so it is easy top break and feed.

HTH, no sashimi today.

Mark - do you put it all in a food processor before freezing?

Nope, only if I am using frsh fish.

I was going to do a full update, but I got tired so here is a new FTS.

Thanks Mark. How much Selcon and Garlic do you add and where do you normally pick up the supplies?

Jeremy- I get all of my goodies at Ost as it is local to me. Exotic has all the Hikari, but does not carry PE

I usually make about three quart sized bags; when laid flat, are about 3/8" thick. Each bag gets about 3-4 squirts of selcon and 5-6 caps of entice by seachem.

Good luck ;)

Thanks Mark. Somehow I missed the posts above.:o

So, how big a chunk do you normally feed, and how often? You ever add Zoe to the mix?

I add zoe when I defrost the food if I have time. I usually feed at least a 1x2 piece. I'd say it would be 2-3 cubes a feeding at least.
