LOL, Jim. I think like you. If you know you like it (want it), might as well save up and get what you really want, so you're not second-guessing yourself later!

I was joking; I think. That is too much skimmer to keep my nitrates where I like them.

I already do. More fish means corals getting broken more as they grow. I see your angle here ;)

I like the idea, but I prefer to save time and feed different foods on different days.

Maybe I'll give it a try, but I like the ease of my method :)

For some reason, I forgot to post this one

Great tank man!

Thanks and welcome. Good luck with the PBT if you go that way.

Marko9 thank you but i have called to one of my LFS which i have a very good relation with and they said if your going keep a good amout of fish not a good idea. I think i might keep a decent amount of fish in my tank. This is why i am deciding not to do it. Thanks for all of the advice though. I will be following along with your thread.

And if you can help me i have a couple question about some things.

DO you put anything in your tank for the corals.?
And
What is your current fish list?

My current stock list is

1 copperband butterfly
1 magnificent foxface
1 achilles tang
1 maculiceps tang
1 dussumier tang
1 male rhombois
1 male flame wrasse
1 female flame wrasse
1 radiant wrasse
1 rosy scales wrasse
1 mysetery wrasse
1 male dispar anthia
3 bartlett anthias
7 chromis'
1 diamond spot goby

and a pair of banded pipe fish that I added yesterday :D

I add all kinds of stuff to my for my corals. Mostly it is rotifeast and arctipods by reef nutrition. I also add frozen cyclopleeze to my food mix.

As you can see by my fish list, I like nutrients in my tank. That is why I have a skimmer; to export the excess out of the tank. IME, corals need and can handle more nutrients that what we give them. Hobbyist as too scared of having any nitrates in a reef tank. I guess the only comparison I can give would be like if we were limited the amount of oxygen that we receive.

**These are my opinions based on my experiences in my own reef tanks and from what I have gathered throughout my trials and tribulation of reefkeeping. ** :p

Nice caviat! What, don't want to open that can of worms here in your build thread?

So, where's the pic of the pipefish? We are not patient people!:D

I will work on that later this week. They should be easier to capture than the new tangs ;)

NAKA has a pipefish...

Lets see some pictures mark :)

i have a question, do you have some sort of algae growth on your glass, you mentioned you like slightly elevated nutrients and IME that comes with algae on the glass
